Festival Essentials!

Going to festivals is probably what I look forward to every year, Most festivals have been and gone now as they start from May all the way till the end of august. so if any of you are still looking forward to Leeds and Reading festival here are some things that are pretty much a life saver when you are out in the mud and dirt even if hygiene isn't on top of your list, its better to be prepared when your outdoors for 3-5 days!

Cowshed - The ultimate set of festival essentials stored all in one bag to keep you looking and feeling fresh from the mosh pit to the campsite all weekend'.

It includes
  • Travel wash bag
  • Wild Cow Knickers
  • Wild Cow Invigorating Bath & Shower Gel
  • Horny Cow Seductive Body Lotion
  • Lavender Gentle Cleanser
  • Quinoa Hydrating Daily Moisturiser
  • Lippy Cow Lip Balm
  • Cowshed Nail File
Retails at £30 at Cowshedonline

Doing your makeup in a tent can be a tricky task and even worse when you haven't got proper light. When you are out at a festival, there is no electricity for lighting and wind up torches just don't last long enough. There's no need to be concerned about the dark any longer: the fabulous Model Mirror compact mirrors feature eight battery-powered LEDs, which emit a bright light similar to a backstage makeup mirror. Simply turn on the power with the push of a button and you can enjoy the luxury of a lighted compact mirror wherever you are. One side of the mirror is also magnified and comes with a lovely draw string bag to keep it safe. The battery power lasts for 10 hours and comes with a replacement, so you needn't worry about running out of power in the middle of a touch up!

Most of us avoid festival showers so taking a pack of face wipes really is a god send for taking off makeup and cleansing the face without water. Any face wipes of your choice will do as long as they do not dry out your skin and do a good job at cleansing because you will be there for a few days so good face wipes really are essential. I particularly like the 'Yes To Cucumber' wipes because they are biodegradable and good for sensitive skin

Fudge dry shampoo is for all us who can't bear to have dirty hair, even if we are caked in mud. Just spritz, leave for two minutes and say hello to bouncy clean hair. If you prefer to use the popular batiste version of dry shampoo, it works just as fine. I prefer the fudge dry shampoo as i find it actually does something other than spraying some powder onto my roots, my hair actually feels fresh and clean.

I hope this has helped you all to stay remotely clean and comfortable whilst having fun at a festival, don't let hygiene worry you and stop you from having fun but packing these essentials will come in handy in making sure you stay nice and fresh. Don't forget the other obvious essentials such as a Tent, A sleeping bag, A rain poncho, Wellies etc...

See you in the next post
